Risborough Rangers made it four league wins on the spin last Saturday as they won 2-0 away against Baldock Town at Arlesey Town F.C with whom they groundshare.

Boro’ midfielder Kieron Schmidt opened the scoring when he fired home from the edge of the box in the 19th minute before Striker Marcus Wyllie sealed the points with a deft touch close in after a slide rule pass from Schmidt for his 19th Goal of the season in 21 appearances.

Rangers weren't firing on all cylinders through out and struggled to find their usual rhythm. The hosts will be wondering how they didn't get anything from the game after a lions share of possession and efforts on goal, but the visitors rallied well to take an all important 3pts.

With this result and close rivals Leighton Town only managing to draw at home Rangers now go Top of the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division by one point but have the benefit of 4 games in hand.

Rangers turn then attention to the FA Vase 2nd round this Saturday with a trip to Shefford Town and Compton, kick off 3.00pm.
